With a recipe that has remained unchanged since 1910, the brand’s vast selection of blended Scotch is made from a sophisticated combination of single malts and grain whiskies from Scotland’s most recognized whisky regions: Speyside, the Highlands, Islay, and the Lowlands.

Ballantines, which has been part of the Pernod Ricard group since 2005, has a long history dating back to 1827, when George Ballantine opened a grocery store in Edinburgh selling whiskies and spirits. In 1865, George constructed a second store in Glasgow and assigned his son Archibald to head the Edinburgh operations. George Ballantine then began developing his own blends.
